Terri Dalenta COLUMBUS, Ohio – Grange Insurance announced today that Terri Dalenta has joined the company as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Dalenta will lead Grange’s financial management, enterprise risk management and investments, as well as maintain the company’s financial strength .
With more than 25 years in the P&C and Life insurance industry, Dalenta brings a depth and breadth of experience to Grange. She most recently served as SVP of Property Product Management for Allstate Insurance in Chicago, where she was responsible for the company’s $9 billion property portfolio. Prior to Allstate, Dalenta served as EVP and Chief Risk Officer for Aviva North America and then served in the company’s London headquarters as Risk Framework Director. She also previously served as Chief Risk Officer and Corporate Chief Actuary for Safeco Insurance.
A veteran of the industry, she started her career in the late 1980s with Aetna Life and Casualty. She’s also held senior positions with Deloitte Consulting, LLP and Travelers Insurance.

Dalenta earned bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Speech and Drama from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. She is also a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
